Host: Jamie Sherman, Principal UX Researcher, Esri

This is a 30 minute Open Whine in which we will share frustrations, irritations, and complaints about whatever. We will commiserate together, laugh together and generally share our shadenfreude with people who “get it.” Bring your moans, lamentations, kvetches, a big dose of good humor, and maybe a couple of drinks.

Jamie Sherman is a versatile UX research leader with years of industry experience leading multiple high profile, complex research programs end to end. Mentoring early career researchers and growing a research culture is her passion. Synthesizing complexity into actionable frameworks is her specialty. Jamie works proactively and collaboratively bridging stakeholders and users across technology, business, and strategy. Recent domain work ranges from AI and ML in creative media making, to futures of work, gaming, and entertainment, to fake media and online harassment. Jamie was co-chair of EPIC2021 and is author of several EPIC papers, among many other peer reviewed publications.
